Tim believes he is being followed by a woman he discovered dead in a forest outhouse. He obsessively sees her fingers and eyes at closed doors, and his condition is worsening. Seeking help from a psychiatrist didn't seem to improve the situation, and now Tim appears to be stuck in a closet. The friend's fear and realization that the woman they found dead had chosen to die rather than approaching a door create a sense of impending dread. The story ends with a plea for advice on what to do next.
